KG동부제철, 쿼터 면제 통한 對美 수출 길 처음 열었다! KG동부제철, 쿼터 면제 통한 對美 수출 길 처음 열었다! 미국의 철강쿼터(수입물량 제한) 도입으로 대미 철강수출이 감소하고 있는 가운데, KG동부제철(회장 곽재선)이 국내 철강업계 최초로 ‘쿼터 면제’를 통해 대미 수출물량 확대에 성공했다. KG동부제철은 지난해 말 미국 고객사 B사가 제출한 한국산 석도강판 쿼터면제 신청이 최근 미 상무부로부터 최종 승인을 받았다고 19일 밝혔다. 이에 따라 KG동부제철은 B사와 수주계약을 체결하고 연내 석도강판 수출에 나설 계획이다.
